Cost Share Programs

There are three (3) Cost Share Programs set up throughout Lemhi County; Lemhi River Drainage Noxious Weeds, Carmen Drainage Noxious Weeds, and Pahsimeroi Valley Noxious Weeds. If you do not fall into these areas you do not qualify for these programs. All of these programs are set up as a 50/50 cost share. This means that any private landowner in these areas may hire who they want and after turning in the proper documents will be eligible for a 50% reimbursement of both labor and herbicide. Please check to see if funds are available. First come, First serve. In order to be considered for reimbursement you MUST:

  • Show proof of payment and invoice

  • Map (Google Earth or similar - no drawings) of area worked on

  • Spray record showing what was sprayed (NOXIOUS weeds and chemical)

  • Property must be located in Cost Share area

Chemical Only Cost Share

Back by popular demand! We have a cost share program set up for chemical purchases only. This is for residual chemicals used on noxious weeds. Reimbursement is 50% on residual chemicals and 25% on non residual chemicals (case by case basis). Please check to see if funds are available! In order to be considered for reimbursement you MUST:

  • Show proof of payment and invoice

  • Map (Google Earth or similar - no drawings) of area worked

  • Spray record showing what was sprayed

  • NOXIOUS WEEDS ONLY

Equipment Rental

Controlling or preventing noxious weeds can become expensive especially when un-managed for an extended period of time. We have equipment that you can rent for a minimal cost to assist you in your efforts. Rentals are located at our office in the Brooklyn Annex at 200 Fulton St. Suite 201. Please call ahead if interested!

  • Backpack Sprayer $5.00/day

  • ATV Sprayer $15.00/day

  • Handheld Seeder $5.00/day

  • ATV Broadcast Seeder $10.00/day
